don't give up, i'm sort of like you in the sense that for me, it was school then home. Now with an engineering degree and no job, I began to look for the things I might enjoy doing, based on conversations I have with people and all. Wow! I don't really have a passion for much. When I was a teenager, all I did was come home, and do homework because I had to go to university, and do something big. Needless to say, I did horrible in school, and never really knew what I wanted to be. Fast forward to the future, I went to a technical school to do Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology, and have about $10,000 in student loans, with no jobs due to recession, and no passion in the field of choice. While others are hands on guys, I get bored quickly. I am screwed, and looking at ways to be wealthy. Investing is one way, and another is internet marketing. Either ways, I am still exploring. I like fast cars, but I like the idea of being in them, and not really the full blown passion of knowing about the company's past, or the car's engine. I don't know how to cope with life anymore.

srini, great comments, thanks. Alos it was nice talking with you on the phone today. I look forward to seeing some of the things you are working on. As an “insider” to your projects all I can say is that you have a winner on your hands.

I also know some of your story, which included walking away from a full time job to pursue your passion. I got to give you a hand on that. Most people wont do that and Im happy for you that it is working out. Yours is going to make for a great success story sooner than later. Stay passionate, stay focused.

As you know I've spent the last several months working on different projects. I've found that I have a real passion for new ideas in general. I also realized that one of my greatest passions is meeting and connecting with new people. Is there a business idea in it? Of course . While some might say, go be a party planner, I know there are tons of other things I can do.

It's really easy to get caught up in the notion that we can't cash in on our passions. But the reality is that there are plenty of ways to turn passion into cash. It's amazing how many simple ideas have made people fortunes. Great article.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the amount of information in my RSS. Luckily I have some favorites. Yours is one of them!

So I went to this post and said to myself, 'you know what, I'm really passionate in what I do, so this article isn't for me'.

Boy am I glad I read on!

Two things.

One, I found this post really useful, especially this passage; "If your passion for freedom, if your passion for control, if your passion for trying new things isn’t greater than your current circumstances then you wont pursue an entrepreneurial path.

Most people will say that they are passionate about controlling their destiny and doing there “own thing” however they don’t do anything about it. That’s because their passion for complacency outweighs their passion for being an entrepreneur."

Awesome! Well said.

Two. Thanks for the bump for my wife's site! She was so excited to see this. You are the man!
