No One But You

No One But You

No one will do it for you. No one can do it like you. No one will do it but you.

That’s the attitude you have to approach entrepreneurship with. The desire and the direction is only going to come from within. To many of us get caught up in the idea that we need other things to happen or other people to help us in order to get started.

No One Will Do It For You

Don’t wait on others to get things going for you, if you do it won’t get done. The decisions and most importantly the action needs to be lead by you. Sounds obvious but sometimes our dreams, our ideas get held up waiting on others to get things done. We need to be relentless in pursuing our dreams and not let others hold us back.

No One Can Do It Like You

You bring a unique perspective to the marketplace. No matter what your idea is, even if it’s been done by others, no one will implement it the way you will. Imprinting your personality onto the product, service or offering is something you need to embrace. Consumers now more than ever are looking for companies they can connect with. Having your company reflect your personality is the best way to accomplish this.

No One Will Do It But You

The only person capable of implementing your ideas is you. You’re going to have to be the one to push it forward, you’re going to have to be the one that ignores the obstacles, its not going to be anybody else but you that gets it done. The world needs your ideas and your passion. Don’t wait, put it off, or delay for the perfect time. Its time to get started.

It’s not going to fall on anyone else to accomplish your goals but you.

    Rich,

I wish you were out speaking at business schools. Most people are so dependent on just circustmances and don't seem to want to take responsibility for what they're doing. I will never forget when you told about quitting my job “Sometimes you have to take 2 steps backwards to take 20 steps forward.” You also said we'd be having a very different conversation in 6 months. We need to get you on another podcast at BlogcastFM even if is not a panel one. You have way too much value to add for people to miss out on what you're talking about. Thanks for this :) .

    Srini,

Thanks, maybe someday I will be, who knows.

You took a big risk walking away from a job and into something unknown. I could tell just speaking with you that you were passionate about doing something else and were going to be successful once you applied that passion. Keep up the good work and Id love to get together for another podcast whenever.
